Kiss Of Fire - Plak

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Harold Mabern carried the musical spirit of his hometown within him and developed into a respected hard bop pianist from the 1950s onwards, playing with many of the biggest names in jazz. 'Kiss of Fire' is the first album in a series of releases on Venus Records that appeared between 2002 and 2008.

Mabern plays in a trio with Joe Farnsworth on drums and Nat Reeves on bass, special guest is saxophonist Eric Alexander.

Venus LPs are only pressed once. After the first edition is sold out, the titles are removed from the catalog. Collectors should therefore consider buying them in good time.
