Blueprint displays a well-rounded picture of Gallagher's eclectic influences. Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy, Roy Head are all shown their due. The album title and artwork were taken from the actual blueprint of a guitar amplifier that had been custom made by Stramp for Gallagher. One of the highlights on the LP is a brooding rendition of "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son", with the band locked in a swampy groove for just under 10 minutes! "How does it feel to be the greatest guitarist in the world?
