This rock-solid album saw Gallagher going back to basics, stripping down to just three musicians again. Photo-Finish, basically consisting of re-recorded versions of the tracks that were recorded earlier in San Francisco for an album that got shelved because he wasn't happy with those versions, is in-your-face and full of energy. Highlights include groover "The Mississippi Sheiks",  hard rocker "Early Warning" and "Cruise On Out", a high octane stomper that gets even the most unwilling listener barefootin'.
