The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a 2015 British comedy-drama film and the sequel to 2012 sleeper hit film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.<br /> The soundtrack is comprised of a score and four Bollywood songs. The original score is the work of Thomas Newman, one of the most respected composers in the movie business, who has scored over fifty feature films. Newman has been nominated for an Academy Award on no less than ten occasions, nine times in the category Best Original Score and once for Best Original Song. He has won a BAFTA, two Grammys and an Emmy, and has also been nominated for a Golden Globe.<br /> Director John Madden says about the score: "I felt that he was exactly the right man for this story of cultural collision (...) Tom's ability to penetrate the soul of a film is unmatched (...)
